TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS
1050 ALUMINUM ALLOY
Being a material with a very good thermal conductivity and at an affordable price, it is used for the fins. The thermal conductivity of the 1050 alloy is 30% higher than alloys used for the traditional heat sinks. The thickness of the base plate has been optimised so that the heat generated by the LED is properly distributed.

HEAT PIPES
This component includes the new technology that allows heat transferring from the LED to the cooling fins. It is proved by experience that, unlike traditional aluminum heat sinks, the “heat pipe” thermal resistance decreases by increasing the heat load.
